She was previously married to Carl Jakob Haupt. Jana Weilert came to Germany with her Volga-German family from Siberia at the age of two and grew up in Neuss . She attended the Elly-Heuss-Knapp College School , a fashion school in Dusseldorf . She then gained international modeling experience, worked for agencies in Athens, Paris and Istanbul and was, among other things, the face for the fashion company Pimkie .
