Asima Bhatt was born on 17th May 1970 in Gaya, Nawada,Bihar. She is the Daughter of the Late Comrade Suresh Bhatt. Who was a freedom fighter who has given great contributions to social change and the country, She has done MA in human psychology from Magadh University She started Nukkad Drama just as a hobby. Later on, she joined Patna IPTA (Indian People's theatre association). She has been working as a journalist in several news Nav Bharat times (Patna), Aaj daily newspaper, Hindustan, Prabhat Khabar, and Patliputra times, etc. She has written about social and women's issues in many newspapers and journals. In 1997 She has done graduate from the national school of drama in the year 2000 and done a film appreciation course from FTII -Film and Television Institute of India in Pune. Also has done almost six diploma films with FTII Students.do Hindi films, ads, and web series
