Alex Josef Bentley is a Middle Eastern-American actor and producer who was born in San Diego, CA and grew up in the Middle East. Before his film and television career, he played college and semi-professional baseball in Mexico, the U.S and Europe. His mother, Ofra, is a French-Moroccan/Israeli immigrant and entrepreneur who speaks five languages fluently and owned a 99 Cent Store before returning to live in the Middle East. His father, Ron, is a former boxer who worked directly for motivational speaker Tony Robbins, whose teachings were instilled in Alex throughout his childhood.
