Reshma Pathan is a stunt-woman or body double for almost all film actresses through the 1970s & 80s in Hindi film industry. She joined the industry in 1968, but it wasn't until the early-seventies that she gained recognition for her work, the real break came in 1975 when she worked as body double for Hema Malini in Sholay (1975). That blockbuster made Pathan an overnight celebrity amidst the industry bigwigs. So much so, that she began to be even known as 'The Sholay Girl'. Pathan was the first stunt woman who officially got a membership in the Movie Stunt Artists Association of India.
