Antonio was raised by his mother, his mother's side of the family, his Godfather and uncle José Maria Bustorff-Silva former Commander of the Portuguese Navy special unit "Fuzileiros". An interesting fact is that on his father side he is also the Grandson of Captain António Neves Graça, former Director of the Portuguese Secret Police (P.I.D.E.), and Mayor of Beja. Antonio is an actor and a martial artist with an impressive martial arts resumé so far, he is a multiple-time heavyweight British Champion of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (2016,2017,2019,2021), European Vice-Champion (2018), UK Compnet National Champion (2018), NAGA Champion (Expert division No Gi 2019) and English Open Vice-Champion (2018). Filming in Turkey, Antonio had a great time alongside Paul Barber, [link=nm1620741 and Steven Waddington. Next, Antonio had a small cameo in Sherlock: The Abominable Bride (2016) directed by Douglas Mackinnon, written by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat for BBC where he worked alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman, Amanda Abbington and Rupert Graves. In the same year, Antonio showcased his Greek language skills to land the Hero role in the beer "Mythos" summer campaign directed by Kristos Kanakis. After that and straight after taking Silver in the IBJJF European Championships, Antonio landed the role of Mercenary in Angel Has Fallen (2019) directed by Ric Roman Waugh, he worked on a very intense fight scene alongside Nic Nolte, Piper Perabo and Wayne Gordon, unfortunately only a fraction of the original scene made the final cut. But on this day Antonio met Wayne Gordon who would recommend him to Emily Maguire who from this day started representing Antonio for all acting inquiries. Antonio has kept growing as an actor and martial artist, becoming a multiple-time British Champion of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has always wanted to play the villain roles and soon auditioned for a part in the Sony Franchise Never Back Down: Revolt (2021) directed by Kellie Madison, Kellie believed in Antonio and the role of "Paulo" was the first time we saw Antonio as a villain alongside the main antagonist played by UFC legend Michael Bisping. In August 2021 Antonio's jiu-jitsu Professor offered him the opportunity to be a sparring partner to a very experienced black belt fighter who was looking for someone to fight regularly, the fighter happened to be the prolific film director, Guy Ritchie. António got offered the part of "Victor" a Russian heavy in Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre (2022) Directed by Guy Ritchie, this was an unforgettable moment for Antonio. Guy's films have always had a great influence on Antonio and now he was cast in one of them, working alongside Jason Statham and Bugzy Malone. Antonio is Portuguese but his Russian accent in the movie could convince you otherwise! Besides his acting career and being a Gracie Barra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete representing Gracie Barra Bath under the tuition of Salvatore Pace, Antonio strongly promotes Anti-Bullying, visiting schools and promoting events either from Bath or from one of his own jiu-jitsu schools Gracie Barra Yate and Gracie Barra Melksham.
